MARAYLYA KITCHEN

Some Kitchen installations that we get to work on are just immense in every way. Big Budgets and huge dreams becoming realities.

This can easily be said for this Maraylya kitchen install. A little unusual with the cream tones, but if you were to visit this house you would understand how well this colouring sits with the decor and everything else.

 

Firstly we had a huge u-shaped area to work in. This allowed SP Cabinets to incorporate a hidden butler's pantry. You will notice this on the right-hand side, the entry to this butler's pantry where a full set of kitchen cabinetry was installed as well, also featuring the cream-based colour.

 

Our client wished to have a dining table attached to the island bench. This island bench was huge measuring about 1.4 m in width. Loads of cabinet space beneath it. The design here was minimal with no cabinet handles showing at all. We went for an island cooktop to be the centre of this kitchen.

A Modern roof range hood incorporated into the centre of the ceiling above the cooktop and placed quite high and out of the way. This range hood in the ceiling is a high-volume rangehood taking care of all cooking odours, steam and everything else.

 

The kitchen sink area was placed to the side of the kitchen which overlooked the backyard. Many kitchen designs cater to this 'watching the children in the yard' aspect whilst at the sink. The sink is one of the many busiest areas of a used kitchen.

A mirrored splashback to add a bit of depth and also making it appear larger. While most clients are opting for a colourless kitchen in whites and Greys this client went hard on a warm rich cream turn. It has definitely worked here given the bathrooms and custom cabinetry through the home also matches the kitchen colouring.
